Gateway community aims to inspire individuals through our vision for a more inclusive and proactive approach to learning for those who would normally find difficulty in accessing learning, community, peer support and enrichment, whilst improving skills that can enable them to function better and be more involved within society rather than being left behind.

A Fun, Safe & Welcoming Space for young people and adults (16+) with SEN needs to socialise, relax, and enjoy time with friends in a supportive environment.
Weekly activities include Bingo, Films, Disco sessions, relaxed socialising, tuck shop and lunch.

Inspire Programme

Monday - Friday 9.00am - 2.00pm | Paid

• Inspire is a full wraparound service for adults with learning difficulties / disabilities, this includes physical disabilities and mental health difficulties.
• The aims of the Inspire project is to deliver training to enable the learners to improve lifestyle/skills, engage with the community or have employment / further training prospects.
• Gateway has a strong interest in environmental issues and raises awareness of this through the Inspire Project enabling our learners to play a part in environmental issues and working in and as part of the community, whilst improving their own social, wellbeing, educational and vocational skills.
• They would achieve this by attending training workshops and fully participating in the running and development of the Inspire shop & goods which are made from recyclable, reusable donated items, or from sustainable craft materials.
